Melissa Neustein , MS OTR/L
Melissa Neustein is a licensed and registered occupational therapist in NJ and NY. She earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from The Nathan Weiss Graduate College at Kean University. She also received her bachelors in psychology with a minor in public health from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into a group of honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Psi Chi, and Omicron Delta Kappa. At Focus, Melissa supports children on overcoming challenges, including gross motor, fine motor, and sensory difficulties. Previously, Melissa has gained experience working at an autism resource center with children with special needs, a sub-acute facility with older adults, mental health day program working with individuals with mental health difficulties, and at an outpatient neuro unit working with individuals with brain damage including strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Her main focus now is on providing the most effective, individually tailored, evidence based care to the children that she works with. She mostly enjoys seeing their progress over time.
