Nofar Yaacoby, Clinical Coordinator
Nofar received her Bachelor of Arts in Tel Aviv University, majoring in Psychology and American Studies. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Ferkauf Graduate, Yeshiva University. Nofar has worked with kids from the age of fifteen, counseling in youth movements, trips to Israel, private lessons for children with learning disabilities and as a therapeutic guide. Nofar has also done volunteer work in Be’er Sheva Mental Hospital, in the Outpatient Department, working with patients suffering from various mental disorders.
Nofar is extremely interested in psychology and the way the brain, body and mind connect. She is interested in working with children with diverse issues and eventually learning family therapy in order to incorporate a full therapeutic experience for the family.
Nofar is the Clinical Coordinator and is here to support and guide families through these difficult times. She ran the therapeutic summer camp and is currently externing in Iona College Counseling.
Nofar speaks Hebrew and English fluently and will gladly support any family in both languages. In addition, she works on conducting panels and free lectures run by professionals in order to provide support for families along with teachers.
