Daphna El-Roy, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Daphna El-Roy, Ph.D., BCBA-D is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2001 who graduated with a doctorate in Psychology from The Graduate School and University Center of The City University of New York in 2004, specializing in learning processes and behavior analysis. She credits her father for starting off her career when she was 5 and she was bugging him to buy her something and he explained that if he does, she will learn that bugging him gets her what she wants.
She conducts evaluations and provides staff supervision and parent training support and workshops at Focus Children’s Therapy Center. She also works as a behavior analyst at a private school for children with multiple disabilities with interdisciplinary teams, supporting staff to teach students functional skills and foster independence. Daphna has and will return to teaching a college class at Hofstra University. She has held positions starting as a teacher assistant to director at schools, helped hundreds of families at an outpatient ABA department at a children’s hospital and has taught college classes at Queens College, The College of Staten Island in New York and in Max Stern Academic College of Emek Yezreel in Israel.
