Center Based Applied Behavior Analysis Program Children Ages 2-4

FOCUS Children's Therapy Center is offering a new center-based program that will start the process of socialization, provide children with a structured environment, and expose them to learning and playing. This type of early exposure enables greater language development, independence, and play skills. While most programs are provided at home or in the community, at times there is a great advantage, especially if a child is diagnosed early in life, to have the child attend a Center-based ABA program to

Our program will emphasize various objectives and goals including:

The program is set in place between the hours of 9:30-12:30, Monday through Friday, and it includes all ABA hours as approved and 1 BCBA hour of supervision (depending on approved hours of ABA- 1 per 10 hours). Furthermore, we are committed to parenting support and training (based on approved hours by the insurance) and based on parents’ needs and request.

All additional OT, PT, SLP, and SSG will be charged separately and are not covered by the insurance as we are not affiliated with any insurance companies for those services (besides Amerigroup). If you have out of network benefits we will gladly send you CPT codes to allow you to check your benefits and reimbursement for those additional therapies.

Benefits for a Center based program:

  1. Helping your child adapt to a routine that includes several hours a day.

  2. Utilizing the most effective ABA treatment under close supervision of a lead BCBA.

  3. Enhancing additional skills such as Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, and Social skills which will improve the child's success in additional areas of functioning.

  4. Prepare your child for school at the age of 3-4 when the child is ready to be transitioned.

  5. Work on socialization with a similar age group of children who have similar conditions and diagnoses.

  6. Parent training and support provided individually as well as in group settings to allow families to gain the needed support from a professional as well as support from each other.

  7. Gain from a therapeutic team approach including: BCBAs, ABAs, families, OTs, SLPs, and other professionals.

  8. Focus has created various contacts in the community, including those with doctors in the area, who can join for any consult the family needs and educate upon the need.

  9. Focus is well equipped with two Sensory Gyms, therefore if a child needs to receive a Discrete Child Program (strict behavioral) or a more natural approach, both can be provided at the center.

  10. Focus tailors the ABA program based upon individual needs rather than asking the child to match our vision and approach for ABA/education.
