With ten years of experience in the field, Esther has worked with clients of all ages in a variety of settings. Her pediatric experience began when working for the Bergen County Division of Family Guidance in a specialized school setting, and continued more recently on an inpatient psychiatric unit specializing in children’s crisis intervention services.
Outside of FOCUS, Esther works part time for the Valerie Fund, providing individual and group Art Therapy sessions for pediatric oncology and hematology patients on an inpatient hospital unit, PICU and outpatient clinic.
Esther is a firm believer that the creative arts are a powerful form of expression, especially when verbalization can be a struggle.
Esther lives in Teaneck, NJ with her husband, two children and their beloved dog.
