Roberta Lynn Petersen is a Licensed Physical Therapist in both New York and New Jersey. She graduated with a Physical Therapy Certificate and Bachelor of Science from Boston University and performed her residency interships at RUSK, Montefiore and Englewood Hospitals.
Roberta has 25 years of experience working with the pediatric populations from newborns to adolescents and young adults. She has practiced in a variety of Early Intervention settings, public schools as well as United Cerebral Palsy of Northern New Jersey.
Roberta has therapeutic experience and education that includes: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Neurodevelopmental Technique, Medek and Sensory Integration. Roberta has trained public and private school staff, teachers, and parents integrating their physical therapy programs into their classrooms and homes.
Roberta lives in Englewood with her husband and daughter. She volunteers at her daughter’s school and loves to write music, sail, ski, snowboard, camp, hike, rock climb, and wind surf.
